I moved to Holmes Chapel with my children in 2007 having previously worked in the village for a number of years. My children both attended nursery, primary and secondary schools within Holmes Chapel before moving on to university. 

I had a long career in the pharmaceutical industry working at Fisons and then AstraZeneca. Finding myself with time to spare I thought it was time to give something back to the community within which I live and was elected as a Parish Councillor in 2019.

I love to travel and in recent years have visited South America, Africa, Asia and travelled the Silk Route. I am looking forward to travel options opening up again.

During the lockdowns of 2020 I was active in helping those who were unable to get out answering calls and collecting and delivering prescriptions and shopping.

I am currently chair of the Village Infrastructure committee and Vice-Chair of the Parish Council. I joined the Partnership in the summer of 2021.
