The Holmes Chapel Partnership was formed in 2012 following Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee. At that time Cheshire East Council (CEC) agreed to fund the Partnership a sum of £8,000 a year, which it continued to do for the next 10 years.

In January 2023 CEC informed us that they could no longer continue to fund Partnerships due to an increased demand for funds from statutory service delivery. To ensure that we could continue to work with the Holmes Chapel community we took the unprecedented decision to seek funding from local companies who might like to support our activities through a Patron Sponsorship Scheme.
