About the Role
We need someone to oversee the financial affairs of the Partnership and ensure they are legal, constitutional and within accepted accounting practice. This includes ensuring proper records are kept and that effective financial procedures are in place, as well as monitoring and reporting on the financial health of the organisation.
The Holmes Chapel Partnership is currently navigating through finding private funding following the decision by Cheshire East to withdraw funding for Partnerships from 2023. You will be instrumental in helping us reach our sponsorship goals to keep the Partnership and the Christmas Market going in the future.
The role would especially suit someone wanting to get back into finance after a career break, or to continue using finance skills following retirement. Some experience of charity finance and fundraising is desirable, but not essential.
Commitment
We are looking for a commitment of approximately four half days per month, possibly more at busy times such as leading up to events like the Christmas Market and Santa Sleigh runs. The work can mostly be done from home, but attendance at monthly committee meetings and some events will be required.
About Us
