About the Role
The Holmes Chapel Partnership aims to keep local residents informed of the latest information through its newsletter, website and social media channels.
We require someone with social media skills to keep our Facebook page up to date with relevant and timely information. The ideal candidate would also be confident setting up and maintaining an Instagram and/or X (twitter) account.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone committed to their local area, with strong communication skills and a passion for digital media.
This could be a highly rewarding role which offers opportunities for extensive engagement with local groups and businesses. This role would suit someone getting started in the social media business, or someone who wants to expand their skills in this area.
Commitment
This role should take no more than 1-2 hours per week, although it will be more in busy periods, such as the run up to the Christmas Market and during the Sleigh Runs in December to ensure all relevant information is communicated and queries are answered.
You will be working from home with flexible hours to suit you, although attendance at monthly committee meetings, plus occasional events, will be required.
