We are a group of volunteers who are focussed on raising funds for Guide Dogs. We aim to run something fundraising most months, including collections, bag packs, coffee mornings and afternoon teas, stalls at events and are very happy to try other ideas.
We usually include children’s activities at our events and specialise in excellent home-baked cakes! New volunteers are welcome, whether they wish to help occasionally or more often

We organise events from Coffee mornings and Street Collections to Jazz/Country/Blues evenings throughout the year to raise funds for the Hospice. The Committee meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at members’ homes to plan activities, and we have a network of ‘friends’ who assist at events.

We are a Voluntary Caring Group working in co-operation with the Health Centre to provide, for those in need in our local community, a transport service for medical reasons, a befriending / visiting service and a weekly service for visiting the village for a social coffee morning.
We are always in need of new drivers for the car service.

We are a local charity who provide information, advice and support for anyone caring for a family member or friend due to illness, disability or age. All are welcome to join our group; often talking to other carers, sharing experiences and advice can be really helpful. Our activities include safety talks, flower arranging, food demos and food tasting. We meet on the third Tuesday of every month from 10.30am to 12.30pm in St Luke’s Church Hall.
